Turbo problems and limp mode

Featured Replies

Hi there. I'm looking for some advice on what the problem could be with my Ford Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost 2018 model.

My vehicle was first diagnosed with P0444 EVAP Emissions Open Circuit (Purge Control Valve. The technician/Mechanic said he had replaced the part and all is well. About a month later the vehicle went into limp mode and when I plugged the OBD2 scanner in it then read a whole bunch of error codes. I'll leave a list of them below.

P1935 BRAKE SWITCH/SENSOR SIGNAL

P2121 ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION (APP SENSOR)

P0234 TURBO CHARGE OVERBOOST CONDITION

P007B CHARGE AIR COOLER TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT BANK 1

I was then advised to clear the faults and see if it was just the computer-box needing to have been reset or if the issues would resurface.

I then took it to another technician/Mechanic about 5 or 6 weeks later and they also said the vehicle was sorted and I shouldn't experience any more problems.

After collecting the vehicle and driving ±7KM it went back into limp mode and the same codes appeared again this time along with

P0101 Mass Airflow Sensor & P0106/P132B MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR.

I've taken it back to the same place and they said the Vaccum Pumps one way valve had a knock on effect and caused those codes to come up.

Can changing the one way valve in the Vacuum pump solve my issues or is there something else going on. I've had the vehicle for almost 4 months and this is the 3rd time that I've had issues with it.

If anyone has any idea as to what the problem is, I'd really appreciate all the advise.

PS I'm from South Africa.
