Android Auto Wireless

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone help?

Fiesta 1.0 ST line 2023 MHEV. Should this vehicle be compatible with wireless AA?

On my old phone I just used a wired connection. Now I have a new Galaxy A17 5G which has the capabilities and spec for wireless but after trying everything I have read everywhere I still can't get wireless to work.

Has anyone any experience of this that may help?

My car software was showing updated 2022. So I connected to Wifi and updated to 2025 tonight when I got home

Maybe after this it might work tomorrow when I get in the car 😁

Many thanks

Sync 3 only uses a lead.

The cheap £5 wireless carplay/AA adapters work really well though, that you can get off aliexpress.

We have them on our Fiestas

If you need to charge though, whilst using wireless AA/CP, don't plug into the other USB port in the car, it'll confuse it.

You'll need to buy an in car charger, or keep your phone charged well
