Just purchased a Fiesta Titanium 3 door and need a phone holder.

 

Realise its not the easiest dashboard to have one and would like it lower down on the left, to avoid wire trailing everywhere.

 

Brodit do the basic attachment but not a Google 8 Pro holder

I've got this one installed, attached to the little window between the windscreen and the driver's door, and the cable is neatly tucked away, so only about 10cm of cable is visible.

I see that people have the phone on that side but was concerned having the wire trailing over the steering wheel.

I had a Brodit one that fitted in the same place but in the summer I thought it was a bit iffy having my phone there if the window is open and I was stationary as someone could reach in and nick the phone.

I don't have the window open more than an inch.

You can easily put a phone holder on the ventilation grille but mounted in the slot at the CD input in the unit! Mounted by me and it fits perfectly!

Some sort of prehistoric music storage device. Held about 10 tracks and went a bit bendy if stored in the car in hot weather. The historical sequence went roughly - 8 track - cassette tape - CD - USB stick - some sort of cloudy thing on a phone. 😀
