Stowing Jack 2020 MK8 Fiesta ST Line

Featured Replies

I’ve recently purchased a 2020 MK8 Fiesta ST Line that came with the jack, foam & spare wheel etc but no retainer bar.
I’ve now purchased these from the Ford shop but can’t work out how they all fit together. The retainer bar doesn’t seem long enough but Ford have confirmed that they are all the correct parts.

Can anyone please show me how they should all be stored?

Thanks

Have you tried storing the tyre the other way round ie inside up that will give more room for retainer to reach the threaded fastening in the wheel well.

I thought that initially, but I don't think there's enough space for the jack to fit underneath if it was the other way.

I suspect as I mentioned on the other thread in "Guides", that we have a mix of bits here.

The tools for the ST fit under the 15" mini spare, the outside of the wheel is on top, plus a foam disc packing piece to level the boot floor. The ST 15" is so skinny it doesn't fill the depth of the well.

It looks as if you have the foam/tools for the 14" wheel there (see below) which are usable but aren't going to sit snugly in the ST wheel.
