Chimes going to cluster with DTCs

Featured Replies

Posted before about chimes going to the cluster, update with some DTCS. Ford cant work the issue out and I've had a new battery put in.

DTCs are:

  • ===IPMA DTC U0253:00-28===

Code: U0253 - Lost Communication With Accessory Protocol Interface Module

  • ===APIM DTC U2013:63-08===

Code: U2013 - Switch Pack

Additional Fault Symptom (:63):

 - Circuit/Component Protection Time-Out

Status (-08):

 - Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request

 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Accessory Protocol Interface Module

===END APIM DTC U2013:63-08===

and

-ECU_POWER_SUPPLY: 14.7 V - ECU Power Supply Voltage

I've checked and the chimes are set to audio speakers only so there's definitely an issue making them fall back to the cluster. I'm not sure what to do as how can I get it fixed if even a Ford garage can't seem to work out what's wrong? I reset the modules and still the same result. Anyone ever fixed this?

Apologies! I've replied to my previous topic, is that the correct way to do this?

Yes, just keep it all in one thread. 👍
