ONLY HOT AIR FROM BLOWERS

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Have a MK7 Fiesta Titanium and have the common issue of clicking when air con on and only blowing hot air regardless of dial position. That is not too bad at the moment with weather being so cold but wont be in the warmer seasons. I have researched on Youtube and changed the passenger side (UK) actuator. When I disconnected that actuator I could still here the clicking, replaced it anyway. Then watched youtube to see a 2nd actuator accessible by taking the steering wheel surround off. When I took steering wheel surround cover off there is no visible 2nd actuator. Looked behind both sides of heater column but can see no other actuator. as per most youtube videos. Anyone know where the clicking is still coming form and how to get cooler temperatures? TIA.

Update, manage to locate the 2nd Actuator drivers side. Problem is it’s hard to access. Manage to undo the torque screws but had to take a chunk out of the trim to access one of the torques. Any idea how the lower panel comes off so I can put back in and and see what I’m doing to locate the plastic arm in properly?
