No owners books

Hi all. I've just purchased a 67 plate Fiesta 1.5 TDCi with no Ford user guides or service book. Now this in itself is not a problem but my last car an Astra had what was called a Car Pass card with details VIN, engine #, key code and a couple of other codes. Does a modern Ford have an equivalent, if so how do I find the numbers. The VIN and engine # are obvious but the others not so.

You get very little with a new car these days. A 2017 when new would have come with a service book, but service records are online now.

All I got with my current car was a Service Portfolio (basically service intervals and warranty certificate which only shows VIN), plus little tags with key number and locking wheelnut number.

Ford dealer should be able to help if you need a replacement key.

Ford don't have an equivalent.  The locking wheel nut key code was in the bag with the key, but that's probably been lost by now.  The key blade codes aren't provided to owners.  There's no radio code for modern Fords.

You can use the FordPass app with your VIN to see a digital handbook and Digital Service Record, though a lot of Ford garages don't seem to bother updating the DSR and obviously non-Ford services don't show up on there.
