MK7 Transit. ABS, ESP, EM & Handbrake lights on & no speedo

Featured Replies

MK7 Transit 2010 2.2l - ABS, ESP, Engine management and handbrake lights on and odometer and speedo not working.

Any advice would be appreciated. A few weeks ago I had an issue with a wheel sensor but replaced this and everything was fine. Then one of the batteries died so I have now replaced both of them. I have done a visual check on all of the fuses and they all appear fine (but not used a multimeter).
Forescan has thrown up a number of errors. Pic attached.

Driving down the road it's lacking power too. Presumably limp mode.

Many thanks for your help

Pic doesn't work.

Suspect wheel sensor gone down though

You've got a lot of "U" codes.

Don't keep trying to reset, research what they mean, it should pin point you to the issue.

Could be just a broken wire somewhere.

The OP is still using the old ELM327 lead which is no longer fully supported by the current versions of FORScan.

This probably explains the 'unable to read' certain modules, and some of the 'U' codes.

Need to change to the vLinker FS cable before digging any further in to the problems.

It's what many Ford owners use including some Ford technicians.

Thanks for your thoughts. It turned out to be a blown fuse in the battery bay.

The ELM327 I used originally was a vLinker FS and was fully functional. Everything working fine now the fuse has been replaced.
