Tyre Pressure Sensors

Featured Replies

New to forum. Have 2015 Fiesta Ecoboost, tyre pressure sensors are reporting service required. They originally said check pressure continuously but now moved on to service required.

I think the batteries may have expired as from a bit of research they say 5 to 10 years life expectancy. I don't particularly want the expense of changing what I assume would be all four sensors but I also don't want to live with the warning chime and having to reset the pressure in the menu every journey. Any advice? Can the sensors be switched off or at least the warning system? Had wetbelt done at 81,000 so hopefully a few years left in her yet!

A set of 4 new sensors can be bought on eBay for £28.

Local independent tyre garage will fit them for £15 to £20 per wheel.

They are a legal requirement on your car.
