Ford Fiesta 2007 Front Suspension Torque Settings Required.

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have a fiesta 1.25 Zetec on a 07 plate and require the torque settings for all the components that join to the front hub assembly as well as the suspension strut, dealing with a flipping snapped spring and none existent lower strut M12 pinch bolt that has had its bolt head mullered by a.n.other owner and decided to leave it half cut off (bolt head that is, then decided to glue the half head cut off back on and covered in dirt) surprised it hasn't been picked up on MOT, but even I didn't spot it until I put some penetrating spray and socket on it......... you've just got to love the boggers out there haven't you 🤬🤬🤬🤬 NOT........

Seen several different values given online searches so wondered if anyone knows the definitive settings please

All help greatly appreciated in advance

Cheers

Rich

When I changed both front springs (OS broke on the drive) on my Fusion, I used the settings in the Haynes Fusion manual, so i would start with a Haynes Fiesta, then at least you have traceability from a known source.

Good luck with that bolt, I had quite a job getting the NS strut out of the knuckle, and undoing the top nuts on the piston strut.  One of my top bearings also fell to pieces !
