Hi, my daughter’s fiesta is displaying the orange spanner sign on the dash. When they plugged it in it comes up with restraint event notification. They took both seats out to check for loose cables etc but nothing to be seen. Any recommendations on what it might be?

Incorrect diagnostics would be my first thought. 🤔

If there is a problem with any of the restraints/seat belts/airbags then you would have the 'SRS' warning light on.

I assume that the DTC's were checked using a generic code reader.

You need to either get the codes read at a Ford dealership (expensive) or you need to use FORScan and read the codes yourself.
