2012 Ford Fiesta coolant resovior boiling

Featured Replies

Hello, I own a 2012 Ford Fiesta that has been boiling coolant for months now. I've bled the system, replaced the fluid, thermostat, and radiator, but after all of that, the issue is still there. I'm wondering what else the issue could be with the car? Please, if anyone could provide help, please give me advice

Have you replaced the cap and reservoir?

Does the engine actually overheat ? 🤔

Is a cooling system pressure test performed?
Is a cooling system vacuum test performed?
Is a cooling system CO₂ test (sniff test) performed?
Is the water pump checked?

These are just the basics.

Lots of questions to answer before we are able to determine the possible cause of the problem. Without answers (and performing these tests) we can only guess.

However, if this has been going on for Months and the engine is actually overheating the head gasket will probably be gone anyway by now.
