Hi new ford owner fiesta 2016 diesel econetic manual love this car not had it long worked like a dream 

then 😱spanner came on message engine service now  got it home safely then went out again not far spanner light same message limp mode😱got it to garage no errors codes came up they took it out drove it around no problem at all! Obviously there is

still under warranty so I need to get to the bottom of this help please!

If the garage scanner doesn't pick up the fault codes then you'll need to use a Ford specific one.

You can take the car to a Ford main dealer, but they are expensive and will be booked up for weeks at this time of year.  So we usually recommend getting a V-Linker adapter yourself and downloading Forscan to a phone or laptop.  This does the same job as the Ford dealer tool but for only £30 or so.

The fault code might get cleared when you switch off the engine, so it's best to leave the engine running and plug in while the warning message and limp mode are happening if you can.
