is there any adjusters for the selector cable on a 2018 1.0

Featured Replies

Hi, Having an issue with my Son's 2018 1.0 ST-line, struggling to get into 2nd gear

The issue has been going  for a while, I originally found that the bush had come off the bottom of the selector lever. I have sorted that which improved it massively but it still struggles. I am wondering if the cable has stretched over the years of being misused whilst the bush was missing so needs adjusting or is it just a case of replacing the cables?

Thanks

Yes, you should see an orange clip at the gearbox end.  Lift this clip up, select 4th gear, then push the clip back down again.

Thankyou, I'll give that a go

If I do have to replace the cables, you don't happen to know how I remove them from the little ball joints do you? I am assuming that you need to manipulate the housing but not sure
