MK 7.5 rear park sensors and unknown connector

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I would like to apologise if I’m asking something that has already been covered.

I own a 2015 Fiesta, 1.0 Ecoboost (MK 7.5). As standard it did not have any rear camera or park distance sensors. Recently, I managed to get a complete rear bumper from a 2015 Fiesta ST. I had it resprayed and fitted to my car. This bumper did come with the rear park distance sensors and the wiring which culminates in a plug near the rear fog light on the right side of the vehicle. After much reading on this forum - I did check within the boot behind the carpet on the right/drivers side and found no spare connector or wiring for the park distance sensors. Out of curiosity I also checked the left/passenger side of the boot and behind the carpet attached to a metal bracket I found a connector(photo’s below) not plugged into anything which just had a blanking plug. Could anyone tell me what this connector is for and if it is in any way related to the park distance sensors.

Thanks in advance.

That looks like the connector for the Trailer Module, for if you fit a Ford towbar and electrics.

It's fuel pump driver module connector, if you had a diesel.
