Does anyone know the size of the top strut nut so I can take it off and replace spring please

I think it's 18mm on these. You will need to counterhold the shock to stop it spinning. And make sure the spring compressors are on tightly before removing the top nut.

I've tried a 19mm socket and it fits. I've tried a offset 18mm spanner and it doesn't go on

Ok. At 15 years old the nut could have already been replaced with either a spring or top mount change.

Yeah do they go that often. I've brought a 18mm socket just incase I need it and locking pliers gonna try that way

I can remember replacing snapped springs on Mk7 Fiestas within the 3 year warranty period! 😄

I'd be surprised if many lasted 10 years, let alone 15.

Ok thanks i'm gonna get lowering springs eventually as this job has been going on for a while

I would say they are not that old as they didn't look old and only had a little bit of rust at the bottom and a bit chipped off the spring. Managed to get it off by putting a pole between the strut bolts at the top

Hi does anyone have a link to a ford fiesta Mk7 pre facelift zetec s front bumper preferably on eBay. And the bottom lip please.

Thanks. I've got a split at the bottom and a few deep scratches in mine and was hoping to just get one that's primed and I will respray it. But can't find a decent one anywhere. Could I just do something with the split and then fill and spray it

I can't find any new genuine Ford ones still available in primer. Would probably have to go aftermarket instead and the fitment may not be great on those. Though a quick search shows they all seem to be out of stock as well. (People are always crashing Fiestas lol!)

I have found the new genuine bottom lip in primer, but the price is ridiculous for that.

Bumpers cracks can be repaired using fibreglass but it takes a bit of skill to get it right, and prevent it cracking again in future. Personally I would rather buy a used one without any cracks and just paint that instead. But there are several options here depending on your skillset and budget etc.

Ok. Or I could just get this one and add a different splitter on the front
