Hi, I've got a Ford fiesta Mk7 1.2 and I've found a 1.0 ecoboost Milltek exhaust cat back would it fit or would I have to change the flange

Would it fit

It will fit the body, but you'll have to adapt it to fit the 1.25 downpipe

It did fit and I had to weld it to the cat. https://youtu.be/v88Xb4BsgV0?si=SoPBaUx_GNuBJuSI

Now neatly mark up a nice curve in the grey plastic over the exhaust, take off the grey diffuser and make a neat job of reshaping it, grey part does come off, just held in by push fit clips into the bumper.

The guy did cut around the exhaust when it was in for welding it. I'm currently looking for a st rear bumper or just the bottom diffuser to replace the grey. But I'm really struggling to find one if anyone has any links to just the bottom grey diffuser to a st one

Ah I see! I'll get my coat scooter

Ebay be the best bet for a ST bumper or Zetec bumper, never going to find a bargin unless you can find the insert parts only and not the whole bumper.

I've been looking for a while but no one seems to just sell the insert just a full bumper and then I will have to get it resprayed.

This is the picture of the bumper cut around the exhaust

Not cheap, but Pumaspeed and others sell the OE part:

I'd be inclined to tidy up the existing valence as suggested, at least until something turns up on Ebay.

Thanks. Does that replace the grey insert or is it a added on bit onto the st bumper

The ST wasn't released until after the facelift. I'm not sure whether the grey insert from a facelift does fit the pre-facelift bumper?

Ford did offer a dress-up kit for the pre-facelift, but that didn't come with a cut-out, and is also ridiculously expensive. 😐

Wow that's expensive it doesn't even look that nice compared to the st rear valance. Looking at the links that tomsfocus has sent. I think I'm going to go with this one https://ebay.us/m/isvQaz

I didn't realize how expensive they are from ford, makes sense now why they are a bit pricey second hand

I've tried all day to try and get the locking wheel nut off as it's slipping on the key. Do I need to take the ring off around it as it slipping or can I just smack a socket over the ring and get it off that way

Depends which style of locking wheel nut you have.

Those ones don't have a spinning collar to remove.

Yes those are spinning collar type. Will either have to remove the collar or try a different method.

Would a chisel snap it off. And which one. Like for wood etc

Maybe but it won't be any good for wood afterwards. High chance of slipping and scratching the alloy as well.

A flat old small screwdriver would be better, one you can get between the nut and the collar. Also needs to have a wood or metal handle, as plastic would just shatter.

Tbh if you take it to a local garage they'll probably remove it for a tenner.

Ok thanks. I only want to change a coil spring on the front

No problem. Also need to decide what you're going to do with the other locking wheel nuts. Either need to buy a replacement key to fit them, or have them all removed.

I've the same locking nuts, the rotating collar was rusty and i mean rusty, I couldn't get the key to seat correctly, removing the rust allowed the key to engage fully, then I could get the nut off.......Are yours rusty ?

I finally found a garage that was happy to take it off. He tried the locking wheel nut and it wasn't moving just slipping. So he smacked a socket on it. It's common for them to fail. Yes I've put a totally different locking wheel nut on it now until I get a pack of standard nuts to replace.
