Temp guage

Featured Replies

My focus is very slow warming up and the temp gauge needs 15/20 miles before it registers

is this a problem that needs investigation urgently?

Not urgent as long as you're careful with it.  (Don't push it hard until warm).

Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open and will need replacing, common on 1.0 EcoBoost.

Thanks Tom,  car due mid service check in March will get it looked at under Ford Protect

I agree with Tom. Recently had my thermostat changed. Just keep an eye under the car for leaks. My thermostat housing ending up leaking after ignoring the temp gauge for a while.
