Help Please with Brake Pipe Parts 2007 fiesta

Featured Replies

Hiya, my partners car failed it's MOT on a couple minor things and I've ordered the parts it needs hoping they're the right parts..my question is about the brake pipes, it needs the nearside rear and offside rear replacing ...but I noticed on the sheet it has "(from flexy to wheel cylinder)" on the offside rear.....this is the set I'm looking at buying...does anyone know if these would do the job? LINK: Brake Pipes

Thanks !

Ford fiesta zetec s 1.6 2007

Hi,

The smaller ones there are the ones from flexi to cylinder.

However if that wasn't noted on the nearside as well, it could be the longer pipes needed there. The ones that run around the fuel tank. The ones on my 2008 Fiesta had rotted out by 2016!!

If a a garage is doing this work then it might be cheaper for them to make their own brake pipes. I already had some spare copper pipe and unions, and the flaring tool, so it was a free repair in my case. If you're fixing the car yourselves then buying pre-made pipe sections like this is probably the better way to go.
