Hi guys picked up a 6 month yr old 350 transit last night 5000 miles. Noticed the interior light wasn't working when opening and closing the doors. The 2 side reading lights worked just not the main one. Has anyone had this issue before or can shed some information about it please. Thanks

    Common problem on modern Fords, caused by low battery charge.

    Cheapest option is to use a mains charger on the battery overnight. If you can't park near enough a plug socket then you'll just have to wait until enough driving raises the battery SOC instead.

    If it still doesn't work after charging then it may just be faulty. Easily missed if someone only drives during daylight.
