Does anyone know if it's possible to adjust the brightness of the instrument cluster on this car?

When I have the headlights on at night, I can barely make out what the fuel guage is reading etc, I haven't had this old car very long, and despite reading through the manual, and trying to search online, I haven't found any relevant information at all.

Nothing jumps out as being obvious on the dash, I just can't believe this is how it's meant to look, it's far too dim!

Thanks so much in advance for any advice.
