Advice required, Zetec S, 2008 plate.

Hi everyone,

My 2008 plate Fiesta Zetec S has succumbed to wear and tear and inevitably the dreaded rust. Failed the MOT last week and would take around 2k to get it on the road again so I’ve decided to ditch it. Although the car itself might not be of much sale value the zetec s engine has only 86000 miles on it and the car still runs like a dream so maybe engine is of value to someone or the whole car might appeal to a restoration enthusiast.

My query is how much I can realistically expect to get for the car so thanks in advance for any help.

    Is this Mk6 or Mk7? Petrol or diesel?

    Sadly though, the Zetec S engines weren't anything special. If the seats and bumpers are in good condition, those are where the value would be.

    Ballpark figure based on current info would be around £500-£1000.

    My 6 model, last before the newer shape, seats and bumper are fine so I’ll see what I get offered, thanks again.
