Please help any advice : Ford Fiesta 1.4 Tdci MK7 2009

Featured Replies

Just recently purchased a Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci Ghia MK7 2008

I have just had to replace two fuel injectors that cost 406 G.BP .

On inspectionI noticed a build of carbon in the inlet pipe , its was pretty

caked in there to say the least . Which lead me to believe sooner or later

the EGR with pack in or malfunction , although the Snap on Diagnostic Tester

picked up the Fuel Injectors 2 and 4 failed .

But no failure with the EGR , but having seen the build of carbon cake may eventually

take the EGR .

I read somewhere that removing the carbon cake could cause more damage to the

EGR or removing the EGR and cleaning could cause more problems ...I really don't

know, any advice and help would be most appreciated . Plus this car has only done

67 ,000 miles on the clock .
