car wont start

Featured Replies

hi all , having issues with my fiesta 1.6 tdci 2007 i bought it a few mths ago and been sat on drive while i did a few jobs on it, finally got it on the road on 1st of this mth and was all ok until half hr into driving around it lit up every light on the dash and then cut out and since then has refused to start, i had a scan and only thing was crank sensor so changed that cleared code but would still not start, so after some reading on this forum as it had not been on the road for a while i did a fuel filter change and primed the fuel line with a bulb i bought as it does not have one fitted, but still wouldn't start, sorry should say it does turn over just wont run , have tried with easy start and it runs but wont stay running, so more reading and got to injectors , so 3 came out fine and one was stuck once out seen it was covered in black carbon, so after cleaning and replacing new copper washers and top rubber and spacer tried starting and again refuses to run except with squirt of easy start,, im now at the point of what to try next so i thought join the forum and see if can get some idea as to what to try next,, just to ad when i primed the fuel i took the top pipe of the filter i then connected the prime buld one side to pipe i took of then other side back to the filter so when it was being primed it was pulling fuel from the filter back into its own pipe as direction on the filter is this the correct way it pulled loads of air at first then cleared to just fuel, so il finish there and wait for any ideas ,thanks
