Ford Kuga 2011 won't start

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a Kuga 2011 and a few days ago a problem happened, it says "steering failure" and there is no contact or anything, I can't start the car, I replaced the ELV, BCM and another module that is in the trunk and nothing again, so if anyone had the same problem and solved it, please contact me

Has the 12v battery been checked?

Ok. As long as the terminals haven't come loose since fitting we should be able to rule out a voltage issue.

I don't know whether the BCM is part of the PATS system on these. They can't just be swapped on many Fords of this era so that might have introduced more faults.

Would really need Ford specific codes from Forscan to go any further now.
