Where Is The Side And Tail Relay For An Escort Tdi P Reg.

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a problem with my side and tail lights on my P reg Escort TDi. They used to come on intermittently but have gone off altogether now. The dash lights are also not working, I suspect the relay or the feed but I'm struggling to find where the relays are located. I can hear the main light relay operating behind the dash but have failed to find it. I've remove part of the dash and loosened the instrument panel. I'm reluctant to remove the speedo cable (not knowing quite how to and to refit). I can anybody shed any light on the matter (excuse the pun)

hi the relays are on the drivers side at the bottom of the dashboard.take out 6 screws and lower the fusebox, undo the front clip and down will drop the relay tray.having a similar problem and have been told that the fusebox goes on ford escorts quite regulary but am not sure....good luck.......... :)
