2017 2.0 TDCI water ingress on front drivers pillar

Featured Replies

Screenshot_20260416_164940_WhatsApp.jpgHi,

My 67 plate smax has developed a rain water leak ☹️. When it rains water drips from the top of the A pillar on the drivers side. It drips from the horizontal trim seam at the top of the little triangular window. Its not coming in through the door seal and I dont have a sun roof, Nothing much visible on the roof gulley and the windscreen trim/seal looks fine. Any one had this before and fixed it?8

All I can suggest is to tape over the windscreen seal and anywhere else to see if the leak stops or changes.
Only other thing (on ours) would be the weld between roof and sides which is covered by a seal?
