Fiesta Workshop Manuals

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there is a Haynes manual, or similar, for the 2009 new shape fiesta printed yet? I need to read a little deeper than the sketchy owners manual.

Thanks Aub

as far as i know there is not, what is it that you need to know

Helm's is makin a manual for the US Fiesta. $180us and won't be out till June of 2011.

I was looking to get an MK7 manual, but was unable to locate one. Kinda sad really, would think by now lots of things would have already been in play for this car since you guys have had it for a couple years.

There is one book and a serie of workshop manuals for the new Ford Fiesta, but but ... in german language.

This one covers the normal stuff but not any deeper than on this forum, so ...

These manuals are for the real professional and they present everything schematic without instructions, normal coz they are for the workshops, thus for the pro's.

Hi thanks for replying, There isn,t much I need but it would be nice to have a read and know where eveything is such oil filter gearbox filler plug etc. AsI like to do my own servicing having trained and qualified as an engineer many years ago it is still interesting to know how it all works. A bit sad smoe might say but it's good bedtime reading.

One question you might have an opinion on is:- I have always used Molyslip in my engines and gearboxes and have never had any problems with gearbox noise or oil consumption, would you consider using this in the newer engines advisable or even necessary? I mention this because many years ago I had a Mk 3 Cortina which had water pump failure on the motorway, of course I failed to notice the temp gauge off the scale . The result was 3 burnt out valves and several broken piston rings. When I stripped it down the bores were absolutey unblemished and apart from replacing them, the pump and gaskets it gave me hundreds of miles service, The use of Molyslip in my view protected the bores.
