    From my experience with a previous ST-Line X on 17s with 45 profile tyres (5+ years without a scratch) and my current car on 18s (graunched after 3 months), the 18s with 40 profiles are much more prone to damage.

    Whether they look better is personal opinion, of course. (Day of delivery shots - quite a difference in weather!😀).
