hi all, any help with this would be greatly appreciated as my knowledge of cars is very minimal..

I need a replacement wing mirror, passenger side. trying to work out what MK my car is, think it’s 7.5 but can anyone confirm please? I’ve attached a couple of pics. It’s a 67 plate.

Been looking on eBay for a replacement. is there any difference in MK7 and 7.5 wing mirrors?

'67 plate is crossover between Mk7.5 and Mk8. It's definitely not Mk7.

If the coloured cap on your mirror is still in good condition, you can buy a cheaper one in any colour and just swap your cap over.

That’s brilliant thanks so much for the information. It’s powefold. The cap is fine on mine yeah so might be able to get it a bit cheaper, just double checking but wound either of these be ok? On eBay a lot mention how many pins they are but not sure if that matters too much

Yes, they look ok as long as they match yours exactly. The number of pins is critical because some mirrors have more features than others, such as puddle lamps and blind spot information (BLIS).

Having done this before, this youtube video by OZ Sabra is really helpful for when you install it :)
