My "new" focus estate mk3.5 has sync 2. it's rubbish. I installed aftermarket android unit in my old car and really miss Google maps. So I would like to improve the sync 2 system without breaking the bank. Looking for options I realize some local webshops sell wireless carplay/Android auto modules designed for sync 2. The local sellers price these modules above 400€. But AliExpress offer modules that seems identical for about 150€...

But are these modules worth 150€ or not?

Edit: Found seemingly same module listed @ 114€ from another seller on AliExpress.

I would love to hear from anyone with personal experience.

Edit: Reviews on AliE generally seem positive except issue with poor aux sound quality. But I don't care much about aux if BT is fine. The android unit in my previous car had really bad microphone so handsfree phone function was unusable. So I wonder if this carplay unit has similar issue?

I'm sorry if my question has already been answered. I did try searching before posting this but couldn't find anything.
