Using An C-Max Isofix Kit On A Mondeo

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I recently upgraded to a 2005 Mondeo. I like the car, the only problem is that it does not have visible isofix attachements for use with a MaxiCosi Baby Car seat. I can feel the isofix attachments inside the seat and have read on other forum posts that you have to cut the seat to gain access to them.

I went to a local dealer to ennqure how to do this and he said according to his computer a Mondeo such as mine is not listed as having isofix, and as such there is no specific kit for making the isofix visible. He did add however that he was not surprised that my car did have isofix attachements.

My question is can I use a C-Max isofix monting kit (as linked to below) on my Mondeo.

Thanks for your help
