I need some help please; I recently fitted some day time LED running lights to my new fiesta.

I followed instructions supplied by one of the members of this site, by linking the wires of the LED’s to the two side light connections. The LED’s are working fine, but unfortunately they flash with the indicators, which is probably illegal. Does anyone have any information that I could us to correct this issue, so that the LED’s will work independent of the indictors, but still with the side lights.
