I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice i have a mk4 ford fiesta 1.3 endura (1999)

Currently my boot lid lock isnt working and have been looking around for new ones but cant seem to find any, but finding lots of full boot lids, so i was wondering how hard a job it would be to convert my a boot lid into being flush with no lock as i have seen many people with this done and it looks really good im just not sure how big a job it involves.

If anyone could help me atall with how it is done or wat they think i would be very greatfull to hear from them :)
