Ingress Of Water Into Drivers Seat Well.

Featured Replies

A water loss registeredd a couple of weeks ago. Put the car into garage after checking no radiator or hose faults and expansion bottle level stayed at proper level. Garage said could not find anything.Water still enters inside drivers side.

It's highly likely that part of the seal between your door is damaged and may need replacing, inspect it to see if you can see any splits or cuts in it anywhere around the door arch.

door seal or check the engine bay it can get in from the bulkhead b est way is to trace the water there will be visible signs lift drivers carpet and insulation and have a good look

If you have aircon, make sure the drain hose has not come loose on the passenger side of the bulkhead.

I had it happen to me twice, leaving water in the passenger floor well.
