Bluetooth Problems

Featured Replies

Ok whilst sitting in my Gfs new Fiesta we got the car to bond with her Blackberry bold phone and it was brilliant. As soon as it bonded the blue bluetooth light came on.

On my second hand 09 plate fiesta the blue bluetooth light has been on since Ive brought it, and I cant get my iPhone to see the car at all!!

Does anyone know whats wrong with mine?

Could ask the dealer to upgrade the firmware? Should be free under warranty.

Is it a firmware problem then?

Is it a firmware problem then?

Either way it should be under warranty. The blue light should only be on if the phone is connected so it indicates there is a problem with it somewhere.

Should I disconnect the battery and see what happens.

Car is supposed to go in to fix the leaky window. So I might mention it to them at the time.

Car is a 09 plate. I brought it in August from Ford dealer. Do I have any kind of warranty. As when I rang about the leak, sales guy said yeah should be under warranty. Service woman was moaning that ford only covers leaks etc for 1yr! :(

I had a software update yesterday during my service and it fixed my problem which was no audio streaming playback by bluetooth. They also mentioned that there were various problems that updates were released for and one of them was the bluetooth staying on all the time, which sounds like it might be the problem you're having. My car is 2 years old now and it was still covered for this in the warranty.
