Mk 4 Relay Help!!!

Featured Replies

Hello All,

First post on here as I thought if any one will know what I am talking about it will be other Festa drivers! I currently have a MK4 x reg 1.8 TDI I have just recently had the drive belt tensioned and the power steering pump put back in to place as two bolts had sawn off but this is all fixed. Whilst driving back after about 20 minutes of around 40 MPH the speed clock and fuel guage have reset themselves. I have been informed by a mechanic friend of mine that this could be a problem with the relay. Does any one know how to fix this and if so could you help/explain to me if I'm barking up the right tree in trying to figure this out or if it could be something else.

Thanks very much

Nick
