Sob Sob Sob Eac Fail

Featured Replies

Its very typical that i'm skint right not and only a few days before X-mas and i get a eac fail.

Where do i go now and what do i do. I can't even afford for the local garage to test it.

I tested it on a small hand held on but no codes came up.

I feel like grabbing a shot gun and seeing the md of ford. Joking

Can anyone run through a list of things I can check and do without it costing me and could someone help me find the throtle body sensor so i can check that to see if the elements have got in.

Cheers K

yes flashed up where the mileage shows and the battery has not been out???

I seem to have no luck with cars and i really do try to look after them. I'm thinking maybe buying a push bike just so i can fix things my self.

!Removed! hell, Yesterday i checked everything i could get my hands on , plugs eg.

Today i went out and looked over everything then thought i'd remove the air box to see if i could get to the throtle body sensor and on removing the airbox i noticed that there was a bunch of wires all leading to a plug at the top right hand side of the air box that was loose.

the plug looked like a round piece of gray pipe that had a little hole in the top which was the locating hole.

It seems really strange how a plug can just come apart and that if there was a car following close would of caused an accident.

THANKS ONCE AGAIN FORD

Ive had it show up on mine before, there was something caught in the throttle and stopping it from turning.
