Heated Front Screen Broken

hi all,

basically when I turn on the heated front screen on, it only heats one side of the screen...the passenger side, exactly half way, just wondering if its the screen that is broken or it is a common problem which I can easily overcome?

any help appreciated,

    ive read a few faults on this forum regarding this, your first port of call is to check your fuses, see if any need replacing...if they are good it is down the main elements on the bottom of the screen...will find a link of this forum that will give you all the info.

    there should be two fuses 40amp, one for left side and one for the right side in the auxiliary fuse box in the engine compartment. the colour of the fuses is green.
