Ford Galaxy 2.8 V6 Coolant

Featured Replies

Hi all. Only just bought a MK1 Ford Galaxy 2.8 V6 and she's in need of a good service. Had full service history up untill 2008 but then its a bit vauge with the last owner having owned it since Feb this year and not having done anything to it. Anyway as well as all the usual plugs, leads, oil & filter, I want to flush the coolant system and get some new anti-freeze in there. However this is my first experience with this engine and being a V6 im not sure if there are any special bleeding techniques that need to be employed to ensure all the air bubbles are removed from the system. Can anyone shed some light on this? Lst thing I need is head gasket failure right before Xmas. :) Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Natt
