Wheel Damage

Featured Replies

i have just had the misfortune to slide on the ice and hit the kerb and scrape the alloy on my zetec s. I have got an alloy wheel repair kit but has anyone had their wheel refurbished and if so any idea on the sort of price, it bothers me because my car is otherwise immaculate. Thanks for any advice.

i know a few people who have had this done, anything beetween £30 and £50 a wheel. you will have to get the tyre removed first though (most places require this to be removed anyway as far as i know)

Had this done in the snow last year on my dads insignia, exactly the same thing as you.

20" wheel, badly chipped all the way around, i though the wheel would have needed shot blasting and re painting.

Wizard wheels came out, took the wheel off, deflated the tyre, pulled the tyre back, then repaired the wheel in the back of his van (with the tyre still on the wheel, just deflated and pulled back)

Took about 50 minutes cost £50 and could drive away 2 hours later after letting the paint harden.

Wheel was like brand new i could not belive it !

Would recomend mobile wheel refurbishment, just get a reputable company to do it.

Dont spend any more than £50 !
