Hi guys im new to this forum :)

Just got a question about getting a spare key

When i bought my focus it only came with one key, the remote key fob and i want to get a spare key

Ive seen them on ebay and wondered do i have to get it cut and programmed by ford? I just want the standard key not the fob.

    youll need to get it cloned you need 2 original keys to programme a new key and ford will charge you for 2 new keys plus programming and it isnt cheap

    i dont know if this will help but i was left with the same issue...got a focus and only 1 key...

    i went to "Timpsons" and i got a spare cut and programmed for £75. it doesnt have the remote locking etc but you can still use it to open the doors, using the lock and even start the car.

    i beleive it is a clone of the original tho, but who can complain if it works.
