Fiesta 1.4 Tdci Non Starter

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone shed any light on a 04 Fiesta TDCI that fails to start, I jumped in and changed glow plugs but still wont fire.

I've now had a Snap-on scanner pluged in which comes up with a fault code of P1213....Start injector circuit malfunction, I can't seem to find this code in a diagnostic trouble codes book.

I've buzzed through the fuses and relays but all seem to be fine.

I have noticed that when the ignition is on there is a buzzing sound coming from the injectors and when the engine is turned over there is only 1.5 volts at the injectors.

Any help would be appreciated.

Paul
