Insurance On Ford Pick Up Truck?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am a 17 year old lad who is taking his lessons at the moment. I really want a ford pick up truck as a car preferably a double cab. I know what you guys must be thinking, that im crazy right? well yeah i am :D i dont mind what truck it is but most likely because of the uk market it would be a ranger right? the problem i have is its a 2.5ltr engine which does cause problems insurance wise. I was wondering what advice you guys would give? and what type of model i should go which i should go with a pick up. Id only use it for the odd times id go out as i go to college on the bus since im half asleep in the mornings :P so should i go as named driver? and is there an estimate on what prices i could be looking at?

thanks in advance
