Hi all, im new to this site and new too Fords.....i've got 1998 1.6 focus silver top which failed to start this morning, it ran for a second then died....crank sensor and fuel filter has been replaced for a o.e item.....but ive got no fuel at pipes on rail.....fuel pump blocked?????

no trouble codes stored and i've tried both keys....

much apprectiate any help regards

    have you checked fuel pump relay underbonnet position R7 also F12 (see attached).

    hi mate thanks, yep checked the fuse in engine bay ok, think the relay is clicking in, but that doesnt mean its good....im guessing its ecm controlled....might just buy a new one tomorrow...or swap it for one of the other ones if there the same...failing that im gonna have to get the tank down and check the pump etc i hear its known issue???....need a ramp tho lol

    oh ive also checked the interia switch its not jumped up...
