Transmission/engine Systems Fault Warning

Featured Replies

Hi All.

This is my first post on the forums so apologies if I have put it in the wrong place!

While driving to work this morning the Transmission/Engine systems fault warning light started flashing amber.

I drove for about another mile just so I could get to work, and didnt notice any reduction in power/performance or any change in the handling whatsoever if I'm honest.

I'm just wondering what the fault could be? And should I get it checkd and fixed urgently?

Any info greatly appreciated,

Tom

I'd get it checked, might just be an electrical fault, but still worth having someone look at it.

Cheers. Would I have to go to a Fordgarage to get it checked or should most mechanics be able to check it?

Thanks for the quick reply

Erm ...

Personally i'd take it to a ford garage, but I would of thought any garage with diganoistic equipment would be able to read it, just be warrey of your warrenty.
