Rotten Exhaust On My S Max

I have a 07 s max titanium and the exhaust is rotten all over the cars done 74k mostly long journeys and i dont live anywhere near the sea !! do you think there is a chance of getting anything from my ford dealer? and has anyone else had the same problem as me ?

I had same problem with exhaust, contacted Ford. They said it was up to the local Ford Dealer.... The local dealer said no, so had to book it in. They cut the back part off and welded a new section on..

Sounds like a bodge to me. TBH if you're exhaust has lasted 3-4 years then you cannot complain - most kwik-fit exhausts only come with a 2 or 3 year warranty.

Do you have a TDCi by any chance?

The petrol systems seems to be made of a much better quality material and I've not heard of a petrol needing a replacement exhaust yet...
