Hi,

I have just bought an 05 1.6 automatic and after two days the management light has come on... have had it read and codes 66002 and 66100 (twice) comes up?? the car stutters a little when first started but will clear then intermittently come back. The gearbox also clunks when in drive when it is moving up/down??

Any help would be appreciated as bought car from garage 70 miles away!!

    Most garages give atleast a month warranty/garantee on cars bought from them, take it back to the garage you bought it from and ask them to diagnose and fix, this should be done free of charge.

    within the first week i had my 1.6 Zetec Focus (2005) the power-steering leaked, i managed to get the pipes replaced and motor free of charge(which is good cause its about £500) :)

    Have got a warranty, but nhe has no replacement car if he needs to keep it.. if codes are serious faults he can keep it, if not will get them fixed and bill him as agreed.
