The engine in my Fiesta is knackered due to the cam belt going whilst driving it (ive only had the car for two weeks!) If i was to swap the engine for another one from the same model (diesel 1.8 Endura DE) would i need to change anything in regards to the immobiliser? Im planning to buy an entire unit (fuel pump, gear box, clutch, engine etc)

    The fuel pump is coded to the ignition for immobilisation purposes. Easiest way is to refit your fuel pump to the new engine
