08 Fiesta Zetec 1.4 Tdci Mk7 Feels Lumpy

Featured Replies

I've got an 08 MK7 Fiesta 1.4tdci.

Its been ok but had a teething issues which are being sorted now.As my car is in the garage I got a loan car for free. Its a new 2010 Fiesta 1.4 TDCI Titanium.Engine wise it should be the same except it seems to pull better than mine.

This one will happily sit at 30mph in 4th gear as where mine just feels a little lumpy.

Is it something that needs adjusting or has the engine changed slightly? Its only done 20,000 miles and has just been serviced.

Are you sure you have a MK7? MK7 was released on a 58 plate.

The 1.4 TDCi used a 67bhp engine up until 30 Aug '10 and after this was increased to 69/70bhp which is why the car would pull slightly better.
